Pedram Mokrian
Venture Fellow
Prior to joining Mayfield, Pedram received his Ph.D. at Stanford University where his research was focused on the valuation of resources in electricity markets. During his tenure at Stanford, Pedram was intimately involved with the founding of the Precourt Institute for Energy Efficiency and spent time as an associate at Credit Suisse and as a consultant at Altos Management Partners.
Previously, Pedram received his Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and held positions at the Ford Motor Company, JDS Uniphase and Nortel Networks, broadly covering the areas of power generation, fiber-optic component manufacturing and hardware development.
